How liquid-cooled charging systems keep cars charging safely

The liquid-cooled charging system adopts the method of setting liquid-cooled pipes inside the cable, utilizing the insulating oil with high specific heat property to carry out internal circulation and take away the high-density heat generated by the high current, so as to keep the charging end at a lower temperature and reduce the probability of fires or other accidents triggered by thermal runaway. The fire rating of the cable must reach GB/T3536-2008 standard. For public charging piles or large charging stations, charging facilities need to be in working condition for a long time during the peak period when people are traveling. If the heat dissipation is not in place, it will lead to overloading of the charging facilities, causing thermal damage or even laying a hidden danger of accidents. The advantage of liquid-cooled charging system is that it can quickly dissipate heat in a short period of time and provide real-time temperature control of the charging system to ensure stable operation of high-power charging.

 

And the charging pile with liquid cooling system adopts closed compartment design, blocking the influence of external environment and pollution on the inside of the equipment, and the liquid-cooled pile does not need to open the box and remove the dust on a daily basis, which not only improves the utilization rate of the equipment, but also reduces the operator's cost of maintenance and replacement of the equipment.
