With the goal of carbon peaking and carbon neutrality, how is a liquid-cooled charging system better than air-cooling?

Compared with air-cooled charging, the main advantages of liquid-cooled charging systems are as follows:

 

1.Green and energy-saving. Liquid-cooled charging system has high efficiency of full output voltage and low standby power consumption, which can largely reduce the electricity cost and standby loss of liquid-cooled charging piles. 2.Higher cooling efficiency and faster charging speed. Liquid-cooled charging system through the coolant will heat through the internal circulation of the way quickly to the heat sink, cooling efficiency is higher; while the traditional air-cooled system is relying on fans to fan the air to achieve cooling effect, the charging cable is generally rely on natural cooling way, poor cooling effect. Data show that the same volume of media, liquid can take away nearly 3,000 times more heat than air, can support a short period of high-power current charging.

 

3.Low noise. Air-cooled charging mainly relies on fan cooling, the noise is relatively large, in office areas, residential areas or medical education areas will lead to greater noise pollution; liquid-cooled charging system relies on the internal flow of coolant circulation to take away the heat, there is no need to worry about this problem.

 

4.Long life cycle. Adapt to different environments. Liquid-cooled heat dissipation mode can make the system form internal circulation, and the compartmentalized design can isolate the influence of external environment on the parts to ensure system stability and reliability, and extend the use of life cycle, suitable for low temperature, sand, dust, salt spray, humidity and other harsh environments. The air-cooled system needs to maintain air circulation with the outside world, and is greatly affected by temperature and air quality.
